The North Dakota Nurses Association (NDNA) is the only professional organization representing all registered nurses (RNs) in North Dakota.

The Mission of NDNA is to advance the nursing profession by promoting professional development of nurses, fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting the safety and well-being of nurses in the workplace, and by advocating on health care issues affecting nurses and the public.

Board Member Positions & Duties
President - spokesperson for NDNA; liaison between state and national office (ANA); provides leadership for the state association
VP of Membership Services - recommend membership benefit changes, retention and recruitment strategies
VP of Finance - monitor NDNA fiscal affairs;coordinate annual audit 
VP of Communication - maintain records of annual meeting and NDNA Board Meetings; assist with the publication of NDNA
VP of Government Relations - coordinate the development of a legislative platform; coordinate review of proposed legislation put forth by NDNA
VP of Practice, Education, Administration, & Research - coordinate practice, education, administration and research activities & initiatives
Nominating Committee - Send out notice of open positions to membership, prepare a slate of candidates for open positions, monitor the nomination & election of the positions
